The highest concentration of billfish in the world combined with our world class vessels and expert captains will undoubtedly provide you with the sportfishing vacation of a lifetime. The team at Sailfish Oasis Sportfishing is dedicated to ensuring visiting anglers have the sportfishing experience of a lifetime from the moment they arrive in Guatemala until they return home. I guess it must be wahoo season, this is the 2nd decent one in as many trips. Craigo got this 46lber on a circle hook rigged ballyhoo with 80lb mono. There’s some skill. They also went 7-10 on sails and added a couple of mahi to the meat haul. Fun trip!!

Got the Kiwi group in for their first day, bit tough out there. Got 1 from 2 bites on sailfish, 0 for 1 on blue marlin and 3 mahi in the bin. Currents pushing hard, so it could change in a flash…..hopefully today.

This from Nick:
“What an amazing father/son week, curated by the team Sailfish Oasis Lodge - GUA, from the trek up Acetanago to the world class billfishing and all the little moments in between; we can’t wait to go through the photos, videos and debrief. It’s hard to say goodby so we say until next time, tight lines and thank you!”

10yr old Nicholas got this footage of dads blue marlin before the release yesterday with the GoPro. Pretty work!! A bit of a grind, but we raised 2 blue marlin releasing 1-1 and raised 5 sails going 2 from 3 and missed the prized mahi mahi.
