For 50 years, Harbour City’s Christmas display at Ocean Terminal main entrance has been one of Hong Kong’s must-see attractions. Japanese airline JAL is adopting gender-inclusive language on its flights and airport. The first Asian airline that will be dropping language like “ladies and gentlemen” to “attention all passengers” and “welcome, everyone.” The airline announced earlier this year that female flight attendants will have more freedom in how they dress. The airline also implemented other policies to promote gender equality.
JAL Express, hired Japan’s first-ever female commercial air pilot last year.
