「海下灣海岸生態研習」資訊科技教師培訓課程
(8/3﹑29/3課程尚餘名額)

由教育局資訊科技教育組及世界自然基金會合辦，名為「資訊科技教育電子學習系列︰有效運用移動科技於海下灣海岸公園進行小學常識科及環境教育的活動」小學教師培訓課程，將於2014年1月至3月期間舉行，供全港小學教師參加。

設立本課程的目的，是希望透過課程讓教師：
1）掌握如何透過科技協助在常識科籌辦並進行以海洋為主題的環境教育活動的所需技巧
2）了解如何運用移動工具，例如平板電腦或iPad，於香港海岸公園進行戶外互動及協作學習　及
3）有效運用豐富的網上資源，在學校推廣環境教育、保育和保護野生物種。

海下灣小隊阿達近來在海下灣海洋生物中心發現左呢種庫達海馬。佢地身呈鮮黃色，有黑色斑點，身體可長達30厘米。現時，佢有唔少家人都於東面海域出沒。

你地見到圖中呢隻係庫達海馬爸爸，佢圓碌碌嘅肚下有個囊嗎？你知道嗎: 庫達海馬爸爸和庫達海馬媽媽交配時，媽媽會將卵子傳到爸爸呢個特別嘅肚囊度，交由爸爸孵呢 D 卵架!

The Hoi Han Wan team found this seahorse at our Hoi Ha Marine Life Centre. This is a Spotted Seahorse, which may be bright yellow with black spots, they are still found in reasonable numbers in eastern waters. The male seahorse broods the young inside a special pouch after the female has transferred her eggs to him during mating. The individual pictured here is a male with the pouch visible below the round belly. Spotted seahorses can reach up to 30 cm in length! (Augustine HHW Education Team)

海下灣小隊 Ellen 同大家分享:「雨過天晴」，「雨」過後「海」更清！

喺夏天，香港海水的能見度一般比較低。但颱風過後，今日海下灣的海水變得非常清澈！

Take a look at this photo taken by Ellen at our Hoi Ha Wan Marine life centre. Usually seawater in Hong Kong during summer has low visibility, as you can see the water is very clear following the Typhoon over the weekend!

教育小隊Ellen 美景分享——上百條疏蘿魚一齊暢游海下! ;)

海下灣小知識: 海下灣被劃為香港首批海岸公園之一，曾記錄超過60種珊瑚及120種魚類。

Ellen from our education team informed us of a wonderful sight, a school of Asiatic glassfish! This picture was taken from the pier at our Hoi Ha Marine Life Centre, which is an important nursery ground for various species of fish.
