Estate Manager (Saudi Arabia)
1- year Employment Contract (renewable)
Duties:
- Welcome guests and coordinate any additional services or special requests.
- Organize and coordinate, where required, the F&B service, functions and events hosted at the property.
- Oversee the maintenance of the property to ensure it is in excellent condition.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any maintenance.
- Oversee security measures to ensure the safety of guests and the property.
Experience:
- Extensive experience in Hospitality roles that include Housekeeping and/or F&B; 5 years in a leadership position.
- Experience from luxury, 5* properties, cruises, or yachts.
Qualifications:
- Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential qualities.
- Degree in hospitality or tourism.
- English Language proficiency.

A few days ago, I came across an article that described the difficulties of luxury brands in China, in that international brands are losing traction in comparison to their local counterparts. This made me think about the luxury hospitality field in general.
Every major hotel chain has their own sub-brand that is positioned to serve the luxury market, but how many of them truly deliver luxury services? No doubt, those hotels are gorgeous and stunning, and the
financial means that go into setting up those hotels is unbelievable high.
However, dear reader, please answer me one question, how can a hotel with 2500+ rooms and only 45 butlers deliver luxury service?
Don’t get me wrong, I know that the staff in those hotels are giving their all to provide outstanding service, but unfortunately, these dedicated staff members are all too often overworked, underpaid, and do not get the training that is needed.

I’ve just returned from an intensive and exciting 3-day training at the luxurious Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale in Chenzhou. The wonderful staff improved their practical and technical skills and increased their theoretical knowledge.
