we visited the Centre of English Studies 🏫 for our study tour induction. 👨🏼🏫 Principal Rob told us things to be attended in this city.
We had lessons at The University of Law 🏫 and met classmates from around the world.👨🏻🤝👨🏾👩🏻🤝👩🏿
In the afternoon, we took a city walk🚶🏻♀️🚶🏻♂️, explored key sights, enjoyed fish and chips 🐟🍟at Kirkgate Market, and visited the Leeds Corn Exchange.
we visited Armley Mills, the Leeds Industrial Museum, once the world's largest woollen mill. 🐑🧶The museum includes collections of textile machinery, railway 🚂equipment and heavy engineering amongst others.
We visited the University of Leeds🏫, one of the UK’s largest and most prestigious universities and a member of the Russell Group.
We visited Harewood House 🏡—a grand 18th-century stately home known for its stunning interiors, fine art 🖼️, and beautiful gardens
We visited York, a historic walled city 🏰. We explored the city, saw Clifford’s Tower, York Minster (one of Europe’s finest medieval buildings), and the amazing city walls—the best-preserved in England. We also enjoyed a ride at the Jorvik Museum and learned about Viking artifacts 🛡️.
We went to the aquarium 🐟🐠 in Scarborough today! Saw Humboldt penguins 🐧, seals 🦭, otters 🦦, and even found Nemo!
Meanwood Valley Urban Farm this morning—a local charity that showcases wildlife habitats, organic farming, and sustainability.
We went to Kirkstall Abbey 🏛️! It’s a striking medieval Cistercian monastery. Leeds Art Gallery which collects 19th-century, 20th-century and earlier art works.
Tropical World - turtles 🐢, crocodiles 🐊, all kinds of parrots 🦜, and the world’s smallest monkeys—the Pygmy Marmoset!
