Our **Firecracker Cauliflower** — crispy tempura cauliflower tossed in our sweet & spicy firecracker sauce, with roasted garlic vegan aioli.

It’s been a favourite for years and is pretty much a permanent fixture on the menu. In fact, people notice when it’s not there… and they’re not shy about telling us. 😂

So here’s your warning:

5 things nobody tells you about reopening your restaurant

1. You forget how much stuff there is.
Apparently, restaurants contain approximately 47,000 things that need cleaning, checking, fixing, stocking or finding. And somehow… none of them are where you left them.

2. The first day feels like the first day all over again.
Even though you’ve done it a hundred times, there’s still that “Will anyone actually come?!” feeling. 😅 And we had an absolutely amazing turnout- thank you everyone!

3. Your fridge suddenly becomes the most important thing in your life.
Is it cold enough? Is EVERYTHING cold enough?

4. You remember how much you missed your customers. ❤️
The familiar faces, the catch-ups, the “same as last time,” and seeing everyone enjoying themselves. This is the bit that makes all the hard work worth it.

5. You realise you really did miss feeding people.
The kitchen firing, the drinks pouring, the plates going out… and that first dessert order of the night.

And yes… we’re back open!

The favourites are back, the drinks are cold, the kitchen is fired up — and we’ve even got warm Apple Crumble with cold ice cream for those hot Roatan nights.

🥂 To Our Amazing Guests & The Road Ahead! 🌴
The last few months have been busy, memorable, and full of the kind of support that keeps a small hospitality business going. Every reservation, takeaway order, recommendation to a friend, and familiar face walking through our doors has meant the world to us. To our deeply cherished regulars who feel like family, and to every new face who shared a meal with us—thank you.

As much as we love the hustle and bustle, the reality of the hospitality world means long days, late nights, and countless hours away from our little ones. For many of our team members, it means balancing the grind with family time. Because family is everything, it’s time for us and our incredible staff to step out of the kitchen, put down the cocktail shakers, and dedicate some uninterrupted, quality time to the people who ground us.

✨ Roatan Oasis is officially closed for our seasonal break. ✨

We will be reopening our doors in mid-August, ready to welcome you all back with open arms, fresh energy, and delicious plates.
