🌶️ **Remember our chilli post from yesterday? Today, it’s time to show you what we’ve been doing with them!**

Meet our **Thai Shrimp Salad** 🍤🥗 A fresh, vibrant mix of crunchy veggies, sautéed shrimp and a perfectly balanced dressing, with a little kick from those Thai Bird’s Eye chillies we told you about yesterday. Fresh, zesty and just the right amount of heat!

It’s one of the dishes making our Small Plates menu extra special this month, and there’s only **one week left** to try it!

📅 Our Small Plates Experience finishes on **Friday, 30th October**, and we’re open **Wednesday, Thursday and Friday**.

🌶️ **From Garden to Small Plates!** 🌶️

We’re incredibly grateful for a huge haul of organically grown chillies, generously gifted to us by a friend!

Thai Bird’s Eye, cayenne and serrano chillies have brought a whole new level of flavour to our Small Plates menu and given us the chance to experiment with varieties beyond the usual chillies we find here. Nothing wrong with a jalapeño, of course… but we do love a little variety in life! 😉

That subtle kick in the cider-glazed arancini? That’s the cayenne doing its thing. 🔥 And our Thai Shrimp Salad? Well, you can probably guess where that delicious heat comes from!

There’s something extra special about cooking with ingredients grown with care and shared with love.

**Thanks, Robin, for all the time and effort you’ve put into growing these chillies!** We can’t wait to see what else you grow… and what delicious trouble we can get up to with it in our kitchen! 🌶️👨‍🍳

**SMALL PLATES ARE BACK AT ROATAN OASIS!**

This week sees the start of our Small Plates menu, where we switch things up and invite you to enjoy a different kind of dining experience. Think bold flavours, creative combinations and beautifully prepared dishes, designed for sharing, sampling and discovering something new.

We’re bringing back some favourites, including our **Beer-Battered Olives** and **Lamb Lollipops**, alongside new creations like **Wahoo with Lemon-Nori Butter**. There’s plenty to tempt you, whether you’re joining us for a few plates and cocktails or making an evening of trying a little bit of everything.

And that’s not all! We’ll also be introducing some new cocktails and desserts to keep things interesting. 🍸🍰

Today I’m working on something I’m VERY excited about… our Small Plates Menu, launching in mid-October! 🍽️✨

But before we get there…

This is your LAST WEEK to enjoy our regular menu! 😱

We’ll be closing next week for Semana Morazánica, giving our team a little break before we dive headfirst into small plates season.

So if you've been meaning to come in for that favourite dish… this is your week! 😉

Then it’s goodbye regular menu 👋 and hello small plates, sharing, trying a bit of everything, and probably me creating way too many dishes before I finally decide on the menu. 😂

🥂 To Our Amazing Guests & The Road Ahead! 🌴
The last few months have been busy, memorable, and full of the kind of support that keeps a small hospitality business going. Every reservation, takeaway order, recommendation to a friend, and familiar face walking through our doors has meant the world to us. To our deeply cherished regulars who feel like family, and to every new face who shared a meal with us—thank you.

As much as we love the hustle and bustle, the reality of the hospitality world means long days, late nights, and countless hours away from our little ones. For many of our team members, it means balancing the grind with family time. Because family is everything, it’s time for us and our incredible staff to step out of the kitchen, put down the cocktail shakers, and dedicate some uninterrupted, quality time to the people who ground us.

✨ Roatan Oasis is officially closed for our seasonal break. ✨

We will be reopening our doors in mid-August, ready to welcome you all back with open arms, fresh energy, and delicious plates.
