West Bay Delight initially started as a lofty dream that we would throw around when the trials and tribulations of life got us down. When the 9-5 became the 6am-8pm + weekends... and time spent as a family was almost non existent. We added to the dream, joking that we’d quit our day jobs and build a Beach House that people from all over the world would come to enjoy. A real home away from home, where we would provide the utmost hospitality to our guests. We mused that with our combined skills in business, property management and customer service we could offer a one of a kind concierge service to our guests... and spend our free time as a family. In the water. In the sand. Cooking, reading, laughing together.
A chance meeting with a real estate agent on the stunningly beautiful West Bay Beach during a family vacation brought us to a small property tucked away from the action, but only steps to the water. Suddenly, we could see the dream realized. Throwing caution to the wind, we made an offer on the property, closed up shop and sold off our possessions back home. Weeks later, we began construction in Roatan, on what today is a true labour of love.
A beautiful slice of paradise, West Bay Delight is a rental unit that was built with the comfort of our guests in mind. We will continue to modify and add to the rental as time passes and ideas are presented. This is what we love. Helping people relax, explore and make memories is what we do.
