🌊 The Pakleni Islands might have one of the most misleading names in Croatia.

At first glance, “Pakleni” sounds like it has something to do with hell.

But the name actually comes from paklina, a type of pine resin once used by local shipbuilders to protect wooden boats.

So despite the name, the story has much more to do with boats than hell.

Save this for your next trip to Hvar. 👀

🚤 There’s a reason this is one of our most requested private boat days.

You start with a morning swim at Adam Beach, explore a hidden military tunnel, stop in Bol for w**e and lunch at Mali Raj, then head back to sea for Lovers Cave, Spilice and Little Blue Cave.
