A new experience for Sandra and Matthias. 🍇

Today, they picked grapes for the very first time in their lives! And they did an amazing job with their new challenge! 👏

Lisa and Filip joined us too, so we all raised a glass to the must and to everything that is yet to come. 🥂

Because in Istria, you don’t come just for a holiday. Sometimes you step into the vineyards, guests from our Heritage and Moder houses come together, and we all become part of a small, local story.

And today, our guests became part of our grape harvest.

We are continuing the tradition of our ancestors. 🍇

Some of these vines were purchased way back in 1868 by our grandfather, Matthius Pisak. Today, we are carrying on his craft.

We still grow our own grapes and make Malvazija, Istria’s indigenous wine. 🍷

In what may be our earliest harvest ever — on the very last day of August — we were joined by our dear guests from Poland.

Čin-čin to new friendships and wine on our lips! 🥂🍇
