Tomorrow we're headed to Old Forge.

If you know me, you know I have a hard time shutting my brain off. I'm usually planning the next thing before I've finished the current one.

But there's something about this trip.

No big agenda.
No pressure to see everything.
Just time on the lake, a hike, family, and a chance to slow down for a few days.

I love exploring new destinations, and I'd still choose a big adventure most of the time. But every once in a while, I need a trip that reminds me it's okay to slow down.

Every once in a while, I work on a trip that immediately gets added to my own travel list.

This week's destination is Banff. 🏔️

The photos almost don't look real. Bright blue lakes, mountain peaks, and scenery that looks like it belongs on a postcard.

I've been helping a client plan their trip, and let's just say I've spent an embarrassing amount of time daydreaming while researching. 😅

I'm currently working on a group cruise with 13 rooms.

And every time I work on a large group trip, I'm reminded how much goes on behind the scenes that nobody ever sees.

Different budgets.
Different room types.
Different flights.
Different questions.
Different payment schedules.

For the travelers, it should feel easy.

For me? There are spreadsheets. 😆

But honestly, I love it.

Whether it's a family reunion, destination wedding, cruise group, or a trip with friends, having one person keep everything organized makes a huge difference.

Travel advisor perk:

Sometimes I get to "research" destinations personally. 😎

We flew into Denver a day early before heading closer to Red Rocks for a few days of Eric Church concerts, and I have to say... spending an afternoon floating around the lazy river at the Ga***rd Rockies may have been one of the best decisions of the entire trip.

It's easy to focus on the destination, but sometimes the unexpected stop along the way becomes part of the vacation.

And yes, I can confirm the lazy river is worth it. ✔️
