11 years ago, Team Stannie made it official and tied the knot in the most non-traditional fashion.

Inappropriate t-shirts, a pre-ceremony mud run, free-flowing kegs, and child-free debauchery ensued while surrounded by our favorite humans.

In all my life I could never have imagined a partner this perfect for me.

He loves my wild spirit and fierce independence. He never questions my need for exploration or daily naps.

He loves me even when I'm hangry and always has a snack on hand, just in case.

We've had many a grand adventure together -- from camping in the wilds of Iceland to winding our way through the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul.
