Built in 1438, Onofrio’s Fountain was designed to bring water to the then Dubrovnik Republic which struggled with getting water to the people, especially in the summertime. The Italian artist whom the fountains are named after designed the structure with 16 craved masks through which the water is dispensed.
One of the fountains is located at the entrance of Dubrovnik Old Town while the other, Little Onofrio Fountain, is located in Luža Square.

Ding goes the clock!
Located in Luža Square, the Dubrovnik Bell Tower is a 31-meter high tower that is one of Dubrovnik’s most beloved treasures. It was initially built in 1444 but after suffering damage, it was rebuilt in 1929.
