⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A cracking week aboard Adonis – Split to Dubrovnik and back.
July 15th - 22nd
We’ve finished an amazing week cruising from Split to Dubrovnik and back aboard boat Adonis with Sail Croatia, and honestly, it was one of the highlights of our trip to Croatia.
The route was fantastic, with beautiful islands, crystal-clear swimming spots, great scenery and plenty of time to relax on the boat. Adonis has a really nice atmosphere — comfortable, social and relaxed, without feeling overly formal.
The food was a real highlight. Fresh Mediterranean dishes, salads, pasta and plenty of variety throughout the week. After a swim in that ridiculously clear Adriatic water, sitting down to lunch on the boat was pretty hard to beat!
A massive shout-out to Marin, our waiter. He was fantastic — friendly, attentive and always up for a chat. Nothing ever seemed like too much trouble, and his service really added to the experience.
The whole Adonis crew deserve a big thank you as well. They worked incredibly hard behind the scenes but still kept everything relaxed and fun. You could tell they genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a great week.
And of course, a special mention to Lara and Naomi, who were brilliant guides. They brought great energy to the trip, were always helpful and made the excursions and stops along the way even more enjoyable.
We also have to mention Sail Croatia. The organisation was excellent and the whole trip ran smoothly from Split all the way down to Dubrovnik and back.
For us, the best thing about the trip was the balance — exploring Croatia during the day, swimming in beautiful bays, enjoying good food and then having a few drinks and a laugh with everyone in the evening.
If you’re travelling from Australia and looking for a fun, relaxed way to experience the Croatian coast, this is definitely worth considering.
Great boat. Great crew. Great food. Amazing coastline.
