Not far from Croatia’s capital of Zagreb, in the region of Zagorje there are several castles, and one of the most impressive ones is definitely Veliki Tabor.
With its thick walls and round renessaince towers, it offers a lovely view of the green hills, but also tells many legends from its long history.

Ivan Mestrovic was one of the most distinguished artists in Croatia. He worked as a sculptor and an architect, and his works can be seen in many diferrent cities of Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, as well as USA and Canada. The lucky ones who decided to travel to Dubrovnik in the midst of winter get to witness its biggest and oldest celebration! Festa sv. Vlaha or Festivity of Saint Blaise is a celebration of the city’s patron saint that has been held continuously on February 3rd for over a thousand years - since 972 AD! It’s on the UNESCO list of intangibke cultural heritage and it is truly a sight to see and experience

If we had to use just one word to describe Ljubljana, it would be: enchanting. The capital of Slovenia is a pedestrian haven with charming cafes and restaurants surrounding the river that flows through the city centre, and a castle overlooking it. What more could you ask for?
