Everyone goes to Oia for sunset, but I think I just found Santorini’s best-kept secret village!

I just got back from Pyrgos, and if you want to experience the postcard-perfect side of Santorini away from the crowds, this is where you need to go!

It’s the highest village on the island, where you get 360-degree panoramic views and it feels authentic with charming cafes, beautiful restaurants and quiet lanes!

My absolute favorite spot was watching the sunset from the ruins of the Venetian castle at the very top - it's completely magical!

If you're planning a trip to Santorini, put this village on your bucket list!

Pyrgos Santorini, the most beautiful and authentic hill top village on the island - you didn't know you were looking for!

A lovely quieter place to wander around with fantastic restaurants and panoramic views - giving the caldera a run for its money!

I've stayed here for three trips, it makes a wonderful alternative base or twin trip with Imerovigli, and the cherry on top is the quiet luxury accommodation, there are some truly incredible places to stay!
