Dragi naši ljubitelji prirode s Malog Lošinja! ☀️🐢
Dok s veseljem pratimo morske divove u našem akvatoriju 🐬🌊, ne zaboravimo na one tihe, oklopne susjede koji nam se polako šetaju po vrtovima i livadama! 🐢🌿 Pričamo, naravno, o našim autohtonim kopnenim kornjačama (grčka kornjača, Testudo hermanni), pravim oklopnim šarmerima otoka. One su na Lošinju doma! No, iako ih često viđamo, znamo li zapravo kako žive i što im je potrebno?
Život po principu "polako i oprezno" 🐢🚶‍♀️
Naše su kornjače pravi gurmani, ali s puno ukusa! Najčešće se hrane travom, raznim biljkama, lišćem, djetelinom, ali i sočnim plodovima poput kupina i smokava. 🍓🌿
❗️Nikada ih nemojte pokušavati hraniti ostacima naše hrane, poput kruha ili salate iz supermarketa! 🚫🍞 To im može ozbiljno naštetiti. Njihova je prehrana strogo biljna i treba im samo ono što pronađu u prirodi. 🌱
Njihov je životni ritam savršeno usklađen s otokom. 🏝️ Danju, kad sunce upeče ☀️, obično se povlače u hladovinu grmlja ili traže zaklon kako bi izbjegle pregrijavanje. 🌳 Najaktivnije su ujutro i predvečer, kada je ugodnija temperatura. Tijekom zime, kad zahladi, ukopaju se u tlo i prespavaju zimski san. 😴 To im pomaže da prežive hladne mjesece bez hrane i vode.

Čuvanje i pomoć našim malim oklopnicima 💖🐢
Nažalost, kopnene kornjače su ugrožena vrsta. Ljudske aktivnosti, poput ilegalnog sakupljanja za kućne ljubimce i uništavanja njihovih prirodnih staništa 🔥🚜, ozbiljno im prijete. Zato je važno da se prema njima odnosimo s poštovanjem i brigom:
✅Pustite ih na miru! 🙏 Ako sretnete kornjaču u šetnji, nemojte je dirati ni nositi kući. One su zaštićena vrsta i najbolje im je u njihovom prirodnom okruženju. 🌳 Sakupljanje kornjača je ilegalno i kažnjivo! 🚨
✅Pazite na promet! 🚗💨 Naše ceste često prelaze kroz njihova staništa. Ako vidite kornjaču na cesti, pomaknite je na sigurnu stranu, u smjeru u kojem je krenula. 🛣️🐢
✅Čuvajte im staništa! 🗑️🌳 Nemojte paliti travu ili bacati otpad koji može oštetiti njihov dom. Kornjačama je potrebno grmlje, trava i prirodni zaklon kako bi se mogle sakriti od opasnosti i sunca.

Što ako nađete ozlijeđenu kornjaču? 🆘🐢
Kao i kod morskih kornjača, ako nađete ozlijeđenu kopnenu kornjaču:
* Nemojte je uzeti! 🚫 Uzmite svoj telefon 📱 i odmah nazovite Društvo za zaštitu životinja 🐾 ili komunalno redarstvo. 📞
* Dajte točne informacije! 📍 Opisom lokacije i stanja kornjače pomoći ćete stručnjacima da brzo reagiraju. 🗺️

Naše kornjače su simbol sporog, ali postojanog života. 🐢⏳ One su pravi lošinjski "starosjedioci" i zaslužuju našu brigu. 💖 Čuvajmo ih, promatrajmo ih iz daljine i uživajmo u njihovoj prisutnosti!

Average daytime temperatures range between 21°C and 24°C, while nighttime temperatures drop to around 19°C. The sea remains warm, with an average temperature of around 23°C at the beginning of the month, which is suitable for swimming and water activities.🌊🚣🏻‍♀️🤽🏻‍♀️
🌦️ Precipitation
September brings moderate rainfall, with an average rainfall of about 128 mm spread over approximately 11 days. Although rainy days are possible, most of the month remains dry and suitable for outdoor activities as well as swimming in the sea, which is still warm.🚲🛼🎾🏊🏻‍♀️🥾👟
