After a very successful first year, we are excited to continue sharing the story of Cavtat with visitors from around the world!

Join us for a Free Guided Tour of Cavtat – “A Small Place for Great Art” and discover the rich history, culture, and hidden gems of this beautiful coastal town. Led by licensed tour guide and published author , the tour offers an engaging and entertaining journey through Cavtat’s past and present.

When: Every Friday from April 10th to October 30th
Time: 9:30 AM
Duration: 1.5 hours
Meeting Point: In front of the Franciscan Monastery

The tour is free of charge, conducted in English, and no prior registration is required. It will take place even in light rain or wind.

We kick off the Storytelling Experience this Monday, and it will continue every week until the end of October.

Looks like the mail service has started delivering tourists! ✉️😁
Last week, our free Cavtat tour got a special delivery — a full van of amazing people!

Organized by the , yesterday we kicked off the free guided tours of Cavtat, which will take place every Friday at 9:30 AM until the end of August. The turnout and the interest shown in Cavtat’s history exceeded all our expectations. Thank you so much, dear guests!

Last Thursday at the storytelling event in Mlini we had a truly fantastic crowd. I hope it’ll be the same this week. The event starts at 6:15 PM and takes place behind St Roch’s Church, right on the beach in Mlini. The talk is organized by , admission is free, and everyone is welcome.

Did you know that the Račić family mausoleum in Cavtat was created by the great Croatian sculptor Ivan Meštrović?
Meštrović led an incredibly fascinating life and created over 3,000 sculptures.
This photo was sent to me by my dear guests from Chicago – it shows a sketch of one of Meštrović’s two sculptures of Native Americans, located on Michigan Avenue in Chicago.
The story behind the construction of the mausoleum in Cavtat is especially intriguing.
You can hear all about it – along with many other fascinating details from Cavtat’s history – every Friday at a free storytelling event organized by the Cavtat-Konavle Tourist Board and Hotel Croatia.
It starts at 6:30 PM in the room next to the piano bar. Everyone is welcome!
