Motor boat Torcida was built in1950 in Klimno on the island of Krk. It’s length is 18m and width 4,55m. Originally as a wooden sailing boat it was transporting vine from Korčula and Pelješac peninsula to Rijeka, but after the reconstruction in 1990 is doing exclusively seasonal transport of passengers. There is a galley and toilet on board and the 200 PS Famos engine enables the cruising speed of
8 knots. Torcida has licence for the transport of 55 passengers. Motor boat Torcida departs from Murter harbour for trips around the Kornati islands, one of the most fascinating archipelagos of the Adriatic sea. In the 1980 it gained the status of national park due to its extraordinary beauty, interesting geomorphology and rich marine life. Te area of about 200km2 contains 89 islands, islets and reefs whose unusual formations regenerate constantly in the eyes of beholder the respect for beauty and the power of nature. The crew of three is at your service while sailing through Kornati archipelago and the three stops give you plenty of time for a walk, swim and dive into the magical submarine world. Wishing to offer the real Mediterranean atmosphere to our guests the lunch consisting of grilled fish or meat and salad, is served on board while sailing. The price includes lunch and the entrance fee to the national park as well as the drinks (fruit juices, vine, aperitif, water) throughout the day. Other than daily trips to Kornati National Park we offer Dolphin watching tours, and a cruise for special events like: teambuilding, wedding, school excursions etc.
