Okrug Gornji is located on the island Čiovo far from the hot city stones. It is a place where you can relax on the beach and It is close to other attractions

it is very important that your holiday place is in proximity with all of the important locations in Croatia.

If you want to explore historical sights you can go to Trogir, Split, Solin, Dubrovnik, Šibenik, Zadar. If you want to have active vacation, there are many water sport activities to do: scuba diving, jet ski, parasailing, or you can go to Omiš where they offer rafting, Zip line, canyoning, climbing etc. Mountain Biokovo has a nice skyline with a magnificent view, or maybe you want to spend a day relaxing in the countryside where you can ride a horse and enjoy the nature. The furthest location of them all is Dubrovnik which is a 3 and a half hour drive.

It's your first time on Čiovo and you heard so much about Dubrovnik? Don't worry, there are plenty of tourist agencies in Trogir which can organize a 1 day trip to Dubrovnik. You can choose between private tours and group tours, the drive to Dubrovnik is around 4 hours and you get to experience all the culture and history of this city.
