What does my van do when it's not driving you around Dalmatia?

It carries flowers. Obviously.
Springtime hit, the garden needed attention, and I ended up at a brand new nursery I'd never visited before. Just down the road, but a whole new discovery. First tomato seedlings made the cut too. Zero regrets. Slightly lighter wallet.

(When a woman ends up surrounded by flowers, it never comes cheap. Ever.)

But here's the thing. The same curiosity that sends me down a random road chasing flowers? That's exactly what I bring when I take YOU around Dalmatia.

No rehearsed script. No bus with 47 strangers.
Just me, this van, and a genuine obsession with finding the good stuff.

As a Dalmatian tour guide, whenever I travel I skip the tourist spots and head straight to the market — because that's where a city shows you who it really is.
Also... I needed to check if their fish is anywhere near as good as ours. 🐟 😉

In my village of Kučiće, the “Bubnjari” keep an old Easter tradition alive. On Good Friday and Holy Saturday, when the church bells fall silent, they play wooden drums, a version of clappers, instead. It is a unique custom that carries faith, memory, and the spirit of our village through generations.
