Recently, we noticed quite a few questions about Split, so the answer is yes - we absolutely visit Split, and we'll spend three wonderful nights there.

We'll stay in a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of the Old Town, with a rooftop overlooking the historic centre.
We'll start the morning with a private tour of Diocletian's Palace, its ancient underground cellars, and the charming stone streets of Split's Old Town.

Then, we'll leave the coast behind and head into the peaceful countryside, to meet our local hosts and discover one of Croatia's most loved culinary traditions - 'peka' - slow-cooking food beneath an iron bell over hot embers. Afterwards, we'll enjoy an early dinner paired with local wine.

From Roman history and vibrant city life to quiet villages, homemade food, and genuine Croatian hospitality. ❤️

A little piece of good news from Croatia 🇭🇷🏅

One of the places we'll visit during our women-only Croatia journey is Aura Distillery in the tiny hilltop town of Hum, Istria.

Their famous Teranino liqueur has just been awarded a Gold Medal at the Women's International Trophy 2026 - an international competition judged entirely by women.

And yes... we'll be tasting it ourselves. 😊

What we love most is that behind every bottle is a family story, local ingredients, and generations of tradition - exactly the kind of experiences that make this journey so special.

There’s an old local story that giants built Motovun, and the legend of Veli Jože is still deeply connected to this place. Walking through its stone streets at sunset, it’s easy to understand why.

When we're here, we slow down and enjoy the atmosphere without rushing anywhere.
