Food and w**e are such an important part of Croatian identity – and one of the things we are most proud to share with our guests. 🥘🍷

Throughout our journey, we wanted our ladies to experience the flavours of each region: truffles and local w**es in Istria, traditional dishes prepared in family homes, fresh seafood and oysters by the Adriatic, peka cooked slowly over the fire, and w**es you may never find anywhere else.

Some experiences took us to beautiful restaurants. Others to family tables, small w**eries and hidden places reached by narrow roads through old villages most visitors would miss.
Because for us, Croatian food is not only about what is on the plate. It is about where it comes from, who prepared it, the traditions behind it, and the people you share the table with.

This is the Croatia we wanted our guests to experience – local and personal. ❤️

The joy of experiencing Plitvice Lakes for the first time. 🌿

For everyone in our group, this was their first visit to Plitvice, which made it even more special for us to share their excitement as we explored the park together.

Almost 10 km of walking, countless waterfalls, beautiful lakes and plenty of photo stops along the way. 😊
We were very proud of our ladies – they did an amazing job and enjoyed every kilometre of it!

After all that walking, a delicious local lunch was definitely well deserved. 🥘🥂

We had another beautiful day in Istria. 💚

We learnt how to properly taste and recognize high-quality olive oil, enjoyed some great local food and finished the day with a sunny afternoon in beautiful Rovinj. ☀️

A day well spent. 🤗

What an amazing day in Istria! 💚

Truffles (yes, we did find some! 💪🐕), great food and w**e, beautiful places, lots of laughs, and absolutely perfect weather.

Finally, the day has come! ❤️

We started our women-only adventure through Croatia, and can't think of better way to begin than in our hometown, Zagreb.

From a relaxed welcome dinner at SOL tapas na hrvatski , with the one and only chef Mate Janković , to walking Zagreb’s familiar streets and hidden passages, riding the funicular, and tasting homemade cheese from the 'kumice' at Dolac Market with our phenomenal guide Purgerica - Your Guide to Zagreb .

And, of course, we couldn’t leave Zagreb without finishing with some traditional štrukli at La Štruk . 😊

Beautiful weather, a wonderful group, and the perfect start to our journey. We can’t wait for the days ahead! ❤️

Zagreb has a darker side. 🌘

The quiet streets and wooden stairways of Zagreb’s Upper Town may feel romantic today, but the old city hides a much darker history.

Centuries ago, people accused of witchcraft – mostly women, locally known as coprnice – were imprisoned, tortured and some were burned at the stake.

Alongside this very real history are old stories of secret passages, hidden tunnels and mysteries beneath the streets of Gradec.

Walk through the Upper Town after dark, and it’s easy to feel that Zagreb still keeps some of its secrets. 🌙

Sunny days in Zagreb. ☀️🌿

A walk through Zrinjevac and King Tomislav Square, beautiful parks that are part of Zagreb’s famous Green Horseshoe – a series of elegant parks and squares stretching through the Lower Town.

Historic buildings, fountains, tree-lined paths and late summer sun. A perfect setting to enjoy our capital. 💚

As every year, shortly after arriving in Zagreb, we had to make a trip to one of our favourite places - Samobor. ❤️

Less than 30 minutes from Zagreb, Samobor has been a favourite weekend getaway for Zagreb locals for generations.

A relaxing walk along the Gradna stream, followed by a climb through the forest to the ruins of Samobor Old Town. The castle has stood above the town since the 13th century and had many noble owners over its long history.

And after the walk and the climb, our usual stop - kavana Livadić for baked štrukli. 😍
One of the traditional dishes of northern Croatia, made with dough and fresh cheese, and something we always look forward to when we're back.

And there is another, even more famous local specialty - Samoborska kremšnita, or the queen of all desserts!

But we're saving something for our next visit. 😅

New Zealand - Singapore - Dubai - Croatia ✈️🇳🇿🇸🇬🇦🇪🇭🇷

This is what our journey from New Zealand to Croatia looked like a few days ago.

A few flights, a Singapore stopover, several airports and a very long journey across the world. 😅
26 hours in the air, and 3 days in total, including layovers.

It’s never easy, but when Croatia is waiting at the other end - along with family, friends, late summer days at home, and the chance to welcome our guests - it’s absolutely worth it. ❤️

A little time to recharge and then we're ready to welcome our group in September!

Always good to be back. 🇭🇷
