Visiting Krka National Park on your own is easier than most people think —you just need the right information.

Here’s a practical, step-by-step guide 👇

📍 WHERE IT IS
Krka National Park is located between Knin and Skradin, in central Dalmatia.
The most famous area is Skradinski Buk, but the park includes waterfalls,
wooden paths, viewpoints and natural landscapes.

🚗 ENTRANCES
• Lozovac – best if you arrive by car
✔ large parking
✔ fastest access to Skradinski Buk
• Skradin – access by boat
✔ nice experience
✔ great if you plan lunch in Skradin

👉 First-time visitors: Lozovac is the easiest option.

⏰ OPENING HOURS
• Summer: opens at 8:00 AM
• Winter & Spring & Autumn: opens at 9:00 AM

⚠️ Last entry is earlier than closing time.
Plan to arrive at least 2–3 hours before closing.

🕘 BEST TIME TO VISIT (AVOID CROWDS)
• Best: right after opening (8:00–9:00 AM in summer)
• Worst: 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM (tour buses arrive)

➡️ Your arrival time matters more than the day of the week.

From personal experience — visiting Krka takes MORE than 3 hours.
