Our off road rental and expedition tour fleet of and is getting their regular shoe changes.
tracker as the tire choice for Suzuki drz 400 s/e and combo of Michelin Tracker and Mitas CO2 Stoneking (17” rear wheel) for Suzuki dr 650, has proved to be the set with the best grip with acceptable durability.
We are as always grateful for our tire changers that enable us quick replacements in the shop or during the tours.

Popski’s Private Army !
A very interesting story about British Special Forces group that was set up in Cairo in 1942 by Major Vladimir Peniakoff.
He was also a member of well known Long Range Desert Group that fought against Rommel in Tunisia and Algeria.
Lobagola Insurance will once more provide coverage for new expedition of 12 specially prepared vehicles that will be teamed up by UK, US and Canadian explorers.

They are coming back to Tunisia after initial search in 2019 where they found remainings of a Popski group vehicles and camp that was attacked and destroyed by German air force in a remote area of Tunisia in 1943.

After the expedition is finished there will be a documentary that will be released.

Mark is going to be soooo happy to be reunited with his trusty Suzuki DRZ !!!
Long journey took Mark from Australia, across south-east Asia, India, Pakistan, Iran, Turkey and the Balkans. At more than 65 years of age this was by no means an easy feat.

Here we have a newcomer to the Lobagola MotoTours family, Mima the adopted dog and our old buddy from Kuwait Ali Alkhodari.

On the left is our Antonio, Chilean buddy, important part of Lobagola MotoTours structure.

Guys will be hitting gravel roads across Balkans, camping, open skies, coffee brewing each morning. Of course we supplied them with some Colombia arabica single origin coffee for this trip like we always do.

Ali is a also an Enduristan distributor for Kuwait, so after this trip we will see guys again in Saudi Arabia for Dakar Rally in January. They will attend the race on bikes, we will be there with rental pick up 😁.

Getting stuck is for sure no fun at all 😁.

Getting a 7,5 tons truck over a rough section in a safe manner or using another vehicle as an anchor is much easier when we have a winch on board.

Mechanical winch with pulling strength of 10T with pulley system in factory set up from military version of will be mounted at the back section of the chassis.

All the work that will be done to the exterior and interior of the truck will be posted as it unfolds.

Important bits of the puzzle are coming in recently.
will soon get back on his feet with 300/305 mm suspension and built with rims and brake rotors will be mounted.

As the front is getting 320 mm disc, brake caliper adapter will be slightly machined so everything can fit in nicely and allow the needed clearance.

Workshop is still in chaotic mode because of the work being done inside of the facility so final assembly will take a bit more time.

Life should not be a complicated thing, because in it’s essence if we allow ourselves to live in that ping pong we are missing so much of what life can bring us, right?

So how does getting your motorcycle license just three months ago, selling your apartment, quitting your job and going for a motorcycle trip around the world sounds like ?
For us it sounds perfect 🤙

Eric from Stockholm got in touch with us for providing logistics and routing for his RTW and his first leg of his trip was crossing the Africa. As a climber he will try to climb some nice multi pitch lines in Morocco and Mali as well.

We are not here to force you to sell your apartment or quit your job like Eric did, but to create a path, a much needed framework with a range of our services to make a trip of your lifetime.

In the end round the world trips should be relaxed and offer fun and great memories to be cherished for a lifetime.

A little bit of Africa needs to be around us at any time wherever we go.

This little buddy came from Chad, a gift from a very dear friend, hand crafted by local people with love and great care.

It acts as a lucky charm for our chase truck. It brings shower of happiness with his trunk to our guided expedition tours or when we are out there scouting and mapping tracks for our training camps
and rally roadbook navigation training camps.
