Plitviceblog is a one-man travel business run by me, Goran — a local who knows this area deeply. I offer private guiding services and share original content, photos, and insights based on real, on-the-ground experience. I even worked in the park for a few seasons before starting this independent business.

Nacionalni park Plitvička jezera / Plitvice Lakes National Park is a government-managed public institution, responsible for protecting and maintaining the park under Croatian nature protection laws. They handle infrastructure, conservation, visitor rules, and overall park management.

We are not affiliated in any way. The only thing we share is the location — the most beautiful lakes in the world. I operate here, and they manage it (though, to be honest, it could be managed better).

Two separate roles, same stunning setting.
