Today I stumbled across some shots dated 31.05.2016, from a time when I was still working at the Nacionalni park Plitviฤka jezera / Plitvice Lakes National Park as a seasonal staff member in tourism information. I was living nearby in Mukinje, and in every free moment I had, I was out exploring the lakes and the wider park area.
I was that kind of โproblemโ for my colleagues โ always back in the park on my days off, walking trails, discovering new corners of this incredible place. People used to laugh and say: โGoran, you again in the park on your day off?โ
Guilty as charged.
Ten years later, that same curiosity and passion turned into something real โ from a hobby project called Plitviceblog into a small independent business. Today Iโm a licensed local tour guide for Plitvice and the wider Lika region, offering private and small-group tours in English and Croatian.
๐ฎ๐ชโ๏ธ Between then and now, I spent four years in Dublin working in IT, but eventually I quit and returned home โ to do what I actually love, in what I honestly believe is the most beautiful office in the world ๐ปโค๏ธ๐ญ๐ท
