Working as professional skippers along the Adriatic coast, as well as associating with and talking to other sailing enthusiasts we realised that there is a deficit of small sports sailing boats available for charter. We decided to gather different boats in one place: a trimaran; a sport sailing boats and a traditional boat with sails and oars. We want to enable sailors to get acquainted with boats, sails, and the skills needed for sailing, and also its beauty, regardless of their age, s*x or physical fitness. We offer the opportunity to book the boats when they are available and use them, accompanied by a skipper or without, for a couple of hours, half a day or the whole day. The NAS Sailing Centre also runs the „North Adriatic“ association, whose goals are development and preservation of traditional boars, shipbuilding and Mediterranean-Adriatic culture.

Our 7-day Skipper Training takes you from learning the ropes to making real decisions at sea. You’ll practice docking, manoeuvring, navigation and anchoring, all while learning how to handle a boat and lead your crew with confidence.

No previous experience needed. Just seven days of hands-on training, plenty of practice and a whole new level of confidence.

It starts with a course set for Trieste. Where it goes from there? Straight into the “madness” of Barcolana 58. 😎

This October, Sail La Vie, our Pogo 36, is leaving Punat behind and heading north. Destination is Trieste, where the sea is about to fill with thousands of sails and that unmistakable Barcolana energy.

And for this adventure, we’ve got WAVE Futura with us.

They’re gearing up the NAS crew with technical sailing clothing made for exactly where we feel most at home, out on the water. Italian design, performance and functionality are coming aboard our Pogo for a weekend where the wind, the crew and the boat all have a job to do.

Then comes race day. The sails go up, the Gulf of Trieste comes alive and Sail La Vie gets to do what she was built to do.

Trieste, we’re coming. Barcolana, see you out there!

A lot of drills, plenty of hands-on practice and Lukas making sure everyone got the theory and knew what to do when it actually mattered.

Some love stories just need a little more sea. 💙

This lovely couple from Rijeka keeps coming back to NAS year after year, turning sailing into their own little tradition.

And this time, our Suzana joined them for a quick photo before another Adriatic escape.
