With its historic fortresses and UNESCO protected cathedral it is a perfect travel destination. Placed in the central Dalmatia it has two national parks, Krka and Kornati, in the vicinity. Its history and beautiful nature together with summer music festivals and gastronomic events make a holistic cultural and hedonistic Mediterranean experience. Destination is located in the picturesque bay where

the beautiful river Krka enters the sea. A town with about 47 000 inhabitants is the administrative, political, economic, social and cultural center of the County of Šibenik and Knin - which extends between the Zadar and Split Rivieras.

Šibenik has the status of a town since 1167 and a rich history afterwards. Its 15th century St. James’ Cathedral is unique in the European architecture. Šibenik is characterised by The Ottoman Empire attacks in 16th and 17th century, when the St. Nicholas Fortress and the Fortresses of St. John and Barone where built.

“KUĆA PORED MORA” - Koncert Gradskog komornog orkestra
👉obilježavanje rođendana Arsena Dedića
📍 srijeda 30.07. u 21 sat na Trgu Republike Hrvatske

Slaveći rođendan jednog od najpoznatijih Šibenčana, velikog Arsena Dedića, Gradski komorni Orkestar Šibenik će u srijedu 30.07. u 21 h održati će koncert na Trgu Republike Hrvatske.

Već deset godina, ovaj emotivni i glazbeno bogati događaj okuplja publiku svih generacija, slaveći Arsenovu ostavštinu i njegov neraskidivi odnos sa Šibenikom. Pod ravnanjem maestra Jure Celića, orkestar će izvesti poseban glazbeni program koji obuhvaća Arsenov filmski opus, najljepše pjesme te instrumentalne bisere.

Frane u Šibeniku, gdje će na koncertu otvorenja nastupiti sjajna i nagrađivana sopranistica Patricia Žudetić uz Pavla Mašića za orguljama Petra Nakića i Ivana Faulenda Heferera.

U sklopu glazbenog programa „Suze svetog Lovre“, u subotu 26.07., publiku u Šibeniku očekuje poseban glazbeni doživljaj – koncert "Duška and The Band" u čarobnom ambijentu Samostanskog vrta sv. Lovre:

Na pozornici će im se pridružiti vrhunski glazbenici:

Jedan od najkreativnijih ljetnih festivala vraća se u Šibenik! Supertoon slavi 15 godina uz bogat program i međunarodne autore. od 21. do 25. srpnja ponovno postaje pozornica za više od 200 animiranih filmova, stripove, radionice i umjetnike iz cijelog svijeta.

je mnogo više od sportskog turnira – ona je spoj tradicije, lokalnog duha, natjecateljskog entuzijazma i opuštene ljetne atmosfere. Osmislili su je domaći entuzijasti s ciljem da ožive zajedništvo i sportski duh stare Jadrije. Tijekom dva dana natjecanja, plaža će postati poprište nesvakidašnje sportske svečanosti u kojoj se natječu ekipe u čak 11 različitih disciplina, uz dodatni program za djecu.

U subotu, 2. kolovoza, održat će se grupne faze natjecanja, dok je nedjelja, 3. kolovoza, rezervirana za nokaut faze i završna natjecanja. Discipline uključuju košarku 3x3, mali nogomet, balote, stolni tenis, povlačenje konopa, trešetu i briškulu, beer pong i druge zabavne igre.
