Big shift in travel in 2025!

Two big travel trends are predicted for 2025. The biggest travel trend of 2022 and 2023 was to go big, spend big but some new reports from Expedia and Booking.com show travelers are now in a different headspace and are in favor of quieter trips to places that are lesser-known and far less crowded. More than 63% of travelers asked said they are likely to visit an off-the-beaten-track destination on their next trip according to travel trend report "Unpack 25" which surveyed more than 25,000 respondents from 19 countries.

Many destinations are becoming overcrowded and a lot of travelers want something different as lesser-known spots offer more "authentic" experiences so that travelers can find destinations that haven't been discovered by that many people.

Conde Nast Traveler just published one of the most anticipated lists of the year called " Best Hidden Gems in Europe 2024". According to European Best Destinations the list ranks best secret destinations & hidden spots in Europe far from the crowds, beautiful villages and places where Europe's natural beauty can be experienced. This year, Spain has much to celebrate as the first two towns on the list are located in Spain. In third place, following the two Spanish towns is Primosten, Croatia, just an hour drive from well known Split, Croatia.
