Forest Park Marjan - the lungs of Split 🌲🌿

But beyond the fresh pine air and green escape from the city, Marjan is full of suprises. Hidden trails that wind through quite forest, tiny stone churches tucked between the tree or cut into the cliff, secret viewpoints overlooking the Adriatic and sunsets that make you stop and just take it all in.

🌟 A Night to Remember at Pričigin 2025 🌟

What an incredible experience it was to be part of this year’s Pričigin festival in Split! I had the privilege of sharing the stage with my dear colleagues and presenting my story about WWII in Split on the third night of the festival. It was a truly beautiful and emotional evening—one filled with history, connection, and the power of storytelling 🎊🎭

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who listened, supported, and shared in this journey with us. Moments like these remind me why storytelling matters. Until next time, Pričigin! ❤️🎤

✨Alongside my dear colleagues Senka, Agata and Klaudija, we will take you on a journey through the rich heritage of Dalmatia, sharing captivating stories from this region's past. You’ll hear tales of the pirates of Omiš, the bride of Makarska, poet Petar Hektorović, and impactful events of World War II in Split.

✨Each story will offer a unique glimpse into the heart and soul of Dalmatia, bringing its history, traditions, and legends to life. It’s a truly immersive experience that will allow you to connect with the past in a way that only storytelling can 💬🎭

A little over a year ago, I participated in a project Dalmacija storytelling destinacija where I developed my storytelling tour – World War II in Split 🧐

The tour places a great emphasis on the human aspect of the War and with storytelling, creates a better sense of reality and atmosphere of that time.

You can learn how the War affected the lives of ordinary people by hearing their stories of fighting, resistance, sacrifices and loses, but also discover which parts of the town were bombed or where the bomb shelters were. 💣

🎗During the tour, photographs of buildings that were damaged or destroyed will be provided. The photographs are the property of the Museum of the City of Split and are kept in the archives; but for this tour I have exclusive rights to use them.🎗

Hello! My name is Ina.

As the title says, I'm a licensed tour guide from Split. I consider myself to be a real history buff who spends her free time exploring new things by reading books, attending various seminars, conferences, watching documentaries and especially - traveling.

I am also a certified heritage interpreter and a storyteller. If you allow me, I will share with you all kinds of interesting stories and legends, that have emerged during Croatia's rich history.
