Château de la Treyne......
This is one of my favorite fairy tale castles that is also a hotel with a 4 star restaurant.
The food is absolutely sublime. It is not stuffy. It sets above the River Dordogne on a limestone cliff
and is a perfect spot for having a glass of wine or a cocktail while gazing at the scenery and
the kayakers below.
It's always to have a 1-2 night splurge on one's trip to France.
