I’m Matilda, and Croatia is home.

I was born in the Neretva Valley and today I live in Split. For more than 15 years, I’ve worked in Croatian tourism, creating journeys and building relationships with the people and places that make this country extraordinary.

I created Magnificent Croatia Journeys for travelers who don’t want to simply check Croatia off their list.

UHPA Days 2026 🌺🎬

UHPA Days 2026, the annual gathering of one of Croatia’s leading tourism associations, took place from March 18 to 20 in Šibenik-Knin County – proudly holding the title of UHPA’s recommended domestic destination for 2026.

This year’s edition placed a strong focus on experiencing the authentic and diverse tourism offer of the host region. Through a carefully curated program, participants explored Vodice and Šibenik, visited the historic Fortress of St. Michael, enjoyed a wine tasting at Baraka Winery, discovered tradition at Etnoland Dalmati, and experienced the natural beauty of Skradinski buk.

A great example of how collaboration and immersive experiences continue to shape the future of Croatian tourism. 🌍✨

Croatia was proudly presented at one of the largest travel events in the U.S. – The New York Travel & Adventure Show, held on January 24–25 in New York.

✨ Visitors had the opportunity to discover Croatia through interactive activities, presentations, and authentic Croatian products, while learning more about our unique lifestyle, rich heritage, and growing appeal on the U.S. market.
