Our Story
Name & Description: Velebit Foto Safari
Tour starts at 9.00 when we pick the guests up at a previously arranged location. We’ll make stops every 10-20 minutes, so the guests can look around and take pictures. One of the stops is at the foothill of Sveto brdo, where it might be possible to see some horses which live in the area. Along the way, we reach height of 1000m and Tulove grede hill, from where you’ll get a nice view on the entire Zadar region, sea and the islands. Tulove grede, along with river Zrmanja is a place where Winnetou movies were filmed. On our descent we’ll the old panoramic road that connects Obrovac and Sveti Rok, which was built during the ruling of Austrian emperor Franz Joseph. On the same road, neo-classical church in his honor was built. At the end of the tour we reach Zrmanja river. The last stop is at the Pariževačka glavica plateau which offers a nice view on the Zrmanja river canyon.

Equipment & Staff: All equipment used is registered and certified at the EU. Tour leaders are certified and they speak Croatian, English and German.

What to Bring: Camera, sport shoes, water, sun block, sport clothes, swimming clothes, sunglasses.
Food and drinks: Food and drinks are included in price.
Onsite Facilities: Toilets are available at the beginning and at the end of the tour.
Special Conditions: The operator has the right to cancel tours, without notice, at their discretion depending on the weather. All safety instructions from Hotel Rajna staff must be adhered to. If the tour is cancelled, you’ll be refunded or we’ll do the tour on another day.
Numbers on the day: Minimum of 4 and a maximum of 50 persons. For less than 4 persons, price is 20% more. Larger groups on request.
