📆 Green Waves participants will find it out for sure from the expert voice of Silvia Baiocco of Eventi Nomadi on november 24th at 6:00 P.M. CET.
In this second lecture, “Waves of Change: what can we do to contribute?”, our girls will finally discover what lies behind the organisation of the most popular tourist destinations in the Mediterranean and how sustainability can play a part in helping them.

🧑🌾 Trends and characteristics of tourism phenomenon - Who the key tourism stakeholders are and how their actions shape (un)sustainable development.
🤝 Sustainable coevolution - How tourism evolves through collaboration among firms, destinations, communities and tourists.
🛠️ Practical tools - Systemic approach, tourist experience, multistakeholder decision making, knowledge transfer as key determinants of effective co-adaptions driving sustainable tourism development.
🏕️ Best practices - Like the Albergo Diffuso model and agritourism initiatives across the Mediterranean.
By the end of the session, participants will have a clearer understanding of the opportunities and challenges shaping tourism across the Mediterranean. They’ll explore practical ways to support more responsible and sustainable tourism pathways in their own regions and discover inspiring examples of innovative business models that are already creating positive impact, proving that meaningful change is not only possible, but already underway.
