Try out one of the many water sports, or hit the sports courts at the Slatina sports centre, situated on the western side of town just off the promenade. For those looking to delve into the depths of the sea and enjoy the beauty of the sea life, the diving school is situated in the Tučepi harbour. If you prefer to enjoy the silence and feel the weight of wisdom of centuries past, set out on one of the marked walking trails to the nearby villages, just 30 to 50 minutes from the sea. The culture and entertainment programme is an integral part of what our tourism offers. The Tučepi Summer Evenings festival hosts a diversity of entertainment and cultural performances. The festival typically begins with a party in the streets on 13 June, the feast day of St. Anthony, the patron saint of the Tučepi parish. At the end of June, the traditional festival of klapa singing is held at the Kaštelet Hotel. Enjoy fishermen's nights, popular music concerts, performances by folklore groups and klapa singing groups in the harbour. The centuries of peace in the surrounding villages is broken by the theatrical performances that have become traditional events, entitled “To culture in the Tučepi villages”. These performances together with the local culinary offer make for an unforgettable experience. Next to Hotel Neptun, on the western side of the town, is the medieval Chapel of St. George, erected in 1311. Surrounding the chapel is an archaeological park, which bears witness to the long history of Tučepi. Hotel Kaštelet, once a Baroque summer house belonging to the noble Grubišić and constructed in the 18th century, stands on the seaside promenade. The older part of the town is dominated by the impressive parish Church of St. Anthony of Padua, built in 1901. The church is open daily from 8 am to 12 pm, and from 4 to 8 pm. The Ethnography Museum stands next to the Church of St. Anthony.
