For decades, Sir David Attenborough reminded us of something humanity too often forgets: that all living beings on our planet have an equal right to exist, to water, to freedom, and to a safe home.

Thank you for bringing the living world closer to millions of people.
For teaching generations to look at nature not as a resource — but as a miracle.

Our colleagues from shared with us this funny and interesting behind the scenes :)
Yes, — dolphins do p**p. Their “contributions” actually help keep the marine ecosystem healthy by fertilising phytoplankton and supporting nutrient cycles. In other words, no p**p, no life :)

We’re counting down the days until the warm season returns and Dolphin Watching kicks off again. Until then, enjoy this winter insight into the very real, very natural life of our resident dolphins of Cres-Lošinj archipelago.

Stay tuned for more updates — and big thanks to our dolphin friend for the transparency. 😄🌊

☀️🌊When the sea and sun align☀️🌊
In last couple of days we took some nice pictures while observing bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) in their natural habitat around island Lošinj.
From shimmering morning light dancing across the waves, to powerful leaps and moments of social interaction within the pod – each sighting is a reminder of the importance of protecting these intelligent marine mammals.

🐬 If you encounter dolphins at sea, please remember:
Maintain a minimum distance of 100 metres, reduce your speed, and never chase or cut across their path. Respecting their space helps keep them safe and stress-free, allowing encounters like these to remain a joy for both people and wildlife.

Out in the open sea, every second counts — and sometimes, you're lucky enough to catch a dolphin jump, defying gravity for just a heartbeat.
This sequence is not just about the jump. It's about witnessing nature in motion, wild and untamed, yet beautifully precise.

Our dolphin watching tours aren't just tours — they’re respectful encounters.
We always keep a safe distance, allowing dolphins to move freely and undisturbed in their natural habitat.

Because true admiration begins with respect.

🌊 Can you spot the dolphin?
Sometimes, dolphin watching is not as easy as it seems — especially on windy days when waves blend with every movement on the surface.

In this photo, the dorsal fin of a bottlenose dolphin quietly breaks the waves.
It takes a trained eye, patience, and respect for the sea to notice even the smallest signs of their presence. And our skippers and educators have all of that!

Every sighting is a reminder: we’re guests in their vast, ever-moving world. Approach them with care.
