Synopsis

To the north of the Adriatic a shallow trough with a frontal disturbance is shifting to the east and a ridge of a high is expected to intensify from the northwest.

Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours

NW, locally along the coast N and NE winds are intensifying to 10-20, at the foot of Velebit up to 28 knots but around midday will decrease to 5-15 knots in the North Adriatic. The sea 2-3. Visibility 20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, rain showers and thunder but around midday clearing up is expected in the North Adriatic, then in the afternoon also elsewhere.

Light to fresh NE, tomorrow moderate SE wind in the open sea of the North Adriatic. The sea smooth to slight. Mostly clear skies.

🌿 NP Kornati is expanding eco-friendly mooring!

This year, the park is installing 100 new ecological buoys across 13 designated bays, thanks to two ongoing projects co-funded by the Environmental Protection Fund and the EU Interreg Italy–Croatia programme.

With these additions, a total of 190 eco moorings will be available in Kornati National Park in 2025 — supporting marine biodiversity and protecting the seabed.

It was a spectacular day on the sea! With 118 boats joining the race and perfect conditions, this year’s Zadarska Koka was one for the books! From competitive sailors to families and young enthusiasts, everyone came together to celebrate the spirit of sailing.
