Today, we took a day trip from Zagreb and spent a perfect day traveling back in time! 🏰
​Our first stop was the magical Trakošćan Castle, one of the most beautiful and most visited castles in Croatia. Dating back to the 13th century, this fairytale castle was the long-time home of the noble Drašković family. It completely charmed us with its stunning architecture, lush forest, and the beautiful lake surrounding it—a truly perfect start to the day!
​After that fairytale experience, we headed to the gorgeous, baroque city of Varaždin – a place that once served as the official capital of Croatia. Walking through its historic streets was made even more special by our fantastic local guide, who was dressed in a lavish, authentic Baroque gown, bringing the city's rich history to life. 💃
