🇩🇪 Munich is Germany's lifestyle capital. And on top of all this, it boasts one of the country's most beautiful squares: Marienplatz, at the heart of the city and home to the Old and New Town Halls.

The famous town hall glockenspiel is as much a part of the city's identity as the Hofbräuhaus beer hall or the iconic Church of Our Lady with its green dome-crested towers. 🇩🇪

Found on the high ground of the Murge plateau, Castel del Monte, protected by UNESCO since 1996, appears as part of an ideally balanced scene between symbolism, architecture and nature. It is a perfect octagon, symmetrical, and you can admire it from almost any angle.

The number eight, the Christian symbol of the union between God and man, repeats itself throughout this masterpiece: an octagon building, with octagonal towers and an internal octagonal courtyard, flanked by eight rooms on each floor.

Established in the 3rd century BC, on the top of the hill, as an Etruscan village, San Gimignano has developed into a small, vibrant town surrounded by walls.

Fascinating medieval architecture, especially its towers adorn this city.

During the 13th and 14th century, the patrician families of San Gimignano built around 72 tower-houses as symbols of their wealth and power, however, only 14 have survived.

Many examples of Romanesque and Gothic architecture spread throughout the town.

Piazza della Cisterna, the main square, is one of the examples, as well as Piazza Duomo with the Collegiate Church at the top of the square.

This old part of the city, due to its uniqueness, found its place on the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
