Sunday morning felt like one of those rare Zagreb moments that stays with you.

I attended a lecture about love and the purpose of our existence at Konekt Lab and ended up sharing a table with people from different countries, cultures, and walks of life. Every conversation opened a new world; every person carried a story worth listening to.

We talked, laughed, ate together, and for a few hours strangers felt like a small community. The atmosphere was simple, warm, and magical.

This is one of the things I love most about life in Zagreb: discovering how connected we can feel, even if we come from very different places.

Exploring chocolate through the senses—from touch, to smell, to taste—I absolutely loved the Chocolate Museum in Zagreb . One of the most interesting stories that stood out to me was that chocolate, which is so widely available today, was once reserved exclusively for royalty at certain points in history.

Flower-themed lunch with the 🌸, hosted over a lovely gathering at Barbieri’s , where again moments of joy unfolded over light and tasty food and interesting conversations.

Sharing stories between both expats and locals made it feel especially meaningful — a reminder of the importance of being part of a supportive community, where people from different backgrounds come together, exchange experiences, and leave feeling more connected and seen.

I had such a wonderful time at the International Women’s Club meeting—this time with a hat theme! I loved wearing my hat and feeling so elegant.
The club’s events are always a joy—made by women, for women, filled with fun and connection.
