🌳💚 Have You Met the Project Helping to Save Our Oak Forests?

Forests are on the front line of climate change—and Rebioforests is working to ensure they remain resilient for generations to come.

As part of the project, a field visit was organized at the Morović Forest Administration in Vojvodina, Serbia, where partners and forestry experts explored activities focused on strengthening forest ecosystems and advancing cross-border cooperation in forest restoration.

🌱 One of the highlights of the visit was a young oak nursery, where thousands of saplings are being cultivated to support the reforestation of vulnerable and degraded forest areas across the cross-border region.

Through knowledge exchange, joint action, and sustainable forest management, ReBioForest is helping to:

✅ Restore valuable forest habitats
✅ Increase resilience to climate change
✅ Protect biodiversity
✅ Secure healthier forests for future generations

Every young oak planted today is an investment in a greener, stronger, and more resilient tomorrow. 🌳✨

In the heart of Ernestinovo, near Osijek, the Creative Children's Centre has opened its doors – a place where children can explore their imagination, creativity and emotions through sculpture, painting and woodcarving.

🧒 Recently, pupils from local primary schools visited the centre as part of the “EU in My School” campaign run by the European Commission and took part in inspiring creative workshops.

✅ The centre is one of many projects co-financed through the Interreg VI-A IPA Croatia–Serbia Programme. In addition to providing children with a space to create and learn, it is already contributing to the development of cultural tourism in border regions and strengthening the local economy.

➡ When European funding meets local ideas, places are created that enrich communities and open up new opportunities for future generations.
