Interreg IPA Croatia-Serbia Interreg VI-A Programme Croatia-Serbia It represents continuation of successful cooperation between two countries established previous financial perspective.

Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Croatia-Serbia 2014-2020 is a new cooperation programme envisaged to be implemented during financial period 2014-2020. The overall aim of this Programme is to strengthen the social, economic and territorial development of the Programme area through implementation of joint interventions in the areas of health and social care, environment protection and sustainable energy, development of sustainable tourism and strengthening of competitiveness and business environment. The overall budget of the Programme for period 2014-2020 is 40.344.930 EUR out of which EU funding (85%) is 34.293.188 EUR and 6.051.742 EUR represents national co-financing (15%). The programme area includes 4 counties on the north-east of Croatia and 5 districts on north-west of Serbia.

Cycling the Sava: Connecting People, Places and Sustainable Tourism

The kick-off conference of the project – Development of a Joint Cycling Tourism Product and Activation of Natural and Cultural Heritage along the Sava River was held in Belgrade.

🤝The two-year project, running from 1 March 2026 to 29 February 2028, aims to develop a joint, green, sustainable and smart tourism product along the Sava River.

🚵‍♀️🚵‍♂️The planned cycling route will connect the natural and cultural heritage of Croatia and Serbia, contributing to sustainable tourism, local development and stronger cross-border cooperation.

Another nice gathering with kids and smiles, games and getting to know the world of animals was held in the city of Subotica as part of the Majestic ZOOs project!

🐰🐻The goal of the project is the improvement and development of content that will contribute to a higher quality tourist offer, especially family tourism - the creation of new, educational and entertaining content that will be enjoyed by children and their parents.

The European Commission is looking for 10 Cross-Border Ambassadors for a mandate running from October 2026 to March 2027.

✨ What’s involved?
• Around 2 days per month
• Monthly online meetings with DG REGIO
• Contributions to the Border Focal Point Network’s communication
• Your own personal project on cross-border cooperation

✅ Open to young people living in an EU or EFTA country with a strong connection to a border region
✅ Apply with a motivation letter (max. 500 words) and a video (max. 2 minutes)
✅ Receive a Certificate of Completion signed by DG REGIO

👉 Apply by 31 August 2026 and become a voice for cross-border cooperation!

📢 Project Implementation Manual (PIM) – Version 3 is now available!

The updated Project Implementation Manual (PIM) – Version 3, together with its annexes, has been published for beneficiaries of the Interreg VI-A IPA Croatia–Serbia Programme.

The revised manual includes updated guidance and clarifications to support efficient and compliant project implementation. All beneficiaries are kindly requested to use Version 3 when implementing their projects.

The Siga2Kazuk project has successfully completed its second training workshop for remote pilots of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). 🚁🌲

Through a combination of theoretical and practical sessions, participants strengthened their skills in safe UAV operations, flight planning, risk assessment, and the use of drone technology for forest monitoring and sustainable forest management.

By enhancing the capacities of project partners, the workshop contributes to more efficient environmental monitoring, improved protection of forest ecosystems, and stronger cross-border cooperation.
