What's going on in Budapest (and closeby) during the month of July? Let's take a look!
- Horse Derby and Fashion Show at Kincsem Park - July 4-5 - Lot's of races held on these days along with a Fashion Show inbetween. A really unique experience off the beaten path! (We made a video before about our visit to the Kincsem Park horse races before, check that out if you want to see what its like :))
- VéNégy Festival and Theater Meetup (VéNégy Fesztivál és Színházi Találkozó) - July 1-4 - Held in the town of Nagymaros in the Danube Bend area, which is easy to access by train from Budapest. A smallscale festival with focus on art, culture and music with notable international and local hungarian bands playing!
- Wine Wednesdays at the Hungarian National Gallery - July 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 - A special program in the National Gallery with unique guided tours, wine tasting and live music, each wednesday with its own unique theme and wine selection!
- Monolit Festival at Dürer Kert - July 23-24 - Music Festival for those who love a bit more extreme music, especially Progressive Metal, Metalcore, Industrial and Noise Metal.
- Budapest SUP Festival - July 4th - Make sure to take a peak at the Danube on this day as many SUP enjoyers will make their way from North of Budapest down to the south of the city!
- FIFA World Cup Finals - July 19th - On Szabadság tér there is a common viewing spot with screens, drinks and streetfood for the enjoyers of Football. Most other matches are also being shown here, but the most viewed one will definately be the Finals!
- PiciPiac Designer Market - July 12th - Fény street Market - a Designer market aimed at Moms and Babys. If you are looking for something special, you may find it on this market! The Market also has a very good Lángos place too btw! :)
