I will be your virtual travel guide for getting the best out of your stay in Budapest and Hungary. I am a local who was born and raised here, so on this website and channel I am sharing my favorite places, what to do and why I love living in this City and Country. This way you can get the perspective of someone who lives here, not just the usual touristy stuff uploaded on Youtube, but things that

may be off your radar. Hope my videos can give you all some inspiration to visit these places and also try the local foods and drinks. But of course this will not stop me going on adventures abroad as well, and to share those experiences with you as well 🙂

One of the best tips for visiting Budapest in summer: bring a refillable water bottle!

Budapest can get very hot, and staying hydrated is important while exploring the city. Luckily, there are public drinking fountains around town, and you can find them on the map in the BudapestGO app.

It’s free, useful, and helps you avoid buying plastic bottles all day.

Would you use this tip when visiting Budapest?

Pannonhalma isn't just the Archabbey! Around the old Monastery there are so many other things you can see and do!

The Nature Walkway provides excellent views of the town and the nearby hills, there's also one of the few remaining Millenium Monuments as well, but you can also grab a nice beer with a crunchy Pinsa, or get some sweets along with your coffee!

Have you seen our latest full video about Pannonhalma? Make sure to check it out on our channel!

Did you know you can have a beach-style summer day in Budapest without leaving the city?

Palatinus on Margaret Island is one of the city’s most popular open-air baths, with pools, slides, Hungarian summer snacks like lángos and hekk, and even pools with medicinal water.

It’s also a great option for families with kids, especially if you’re looking for something more relaxed and summer-focused than the classic thermal baths.

Have you ever been to Palatinus?

We have been invited to Schrödinger Macskája (Schrödinger's Cat), a cocktail bar in Budapest where the drinks are not your usual cocktails.

Their menu is themed around the nine lives of a cat, and the cocktails play with surprising flavour combinations — including ingredients like shiitake mushroom, or gochujang. But the real highlight? A mysterious cocktail served in a box.

Would you try a cocktail without knowing what’s inside?

Address: Schrödinger Macskája Cocktail Bar, Budapest, Kertész u. 42-44, 1073

*Disclaimer: We were invited to the bar as part of a collaboration. We have received the drinks for free in return for a video about the establishment if we had a good experience. We would not recommend places that we do not find worthy.

Győr is a beautiful day trip destination in Hungary, especially if you enjoy historic streets, riverside walks, churches, towers, and peaceful old town vibes.

We explored the inner city, walked by the Rába, climbed the Püspökvár tower, and visited the Basilica of Győr.

Have you ever been to Győr?😊
