Budapest, the heart of Hungary, is celebrating its 150th birthday in grand style. In honor of this milestone, the Budapest Transport Center (BKK) is offering a one-day ticket at a throwback price of 150 forints on November 17th. This golden ticket, available exclusively through the BudapestGO app, allows unlimited travel on BKK’s lines within the city’s administrative boundaries.

Budapest celebrates its 150th birthday with grand city-wide celebrations, including special transport tickets, unique exhibitions, thermal baths, and party trams.

The legendary Zugliget tram line was shut down 46 years ago and the two iconic trams No. 58 were finally removed yesterday. :( From 1983, the two trams were used as the reception and food truck of the Zugliget camping.
