There’s been a lot of talk about rising jet fuel costs recently, so it’s understandable people are wondering what it means for their holidays.

Right now, flights are still operating largely as normal from the UK and there’s no jet fuel shortage affecting passengers. Airlines usually buy fuel in advance and airports hold reserve stocks, which helps protect against short term changes.
Some airlines may adjust schedules or reduce less popular routes if costs stay high, but there’s nothing widespread happening at the moment.

If you’ve already booked, there’s no need to panic. Your booking is still protected and UK passenger rights apply if anything does change.
Overall, it’s something to keep an eye on rather than worry about. Most holidays this summer are still expected to go ahead as planned.

Just sharing this because I LOVE seeing trips like this come to life 🌎

One of my solo female travellers has flown all the way from Scotland to Quito and is now out exploring the Galápagos, soon Peru, and she is absolutely loving it.

She has been sending me some photos along the way and it is just brilliant to see her out there doing it after booking this trip some time ago.

I actually booked this for her through one of my amazing suppliers Intrepid Travel, and she has had nothing but good things to say about them, which makes me so happy. I really love everything about them ❤️

I travelled this same journey about 15 years ago and it has brought back so many happy memories. It is such a beautiful and stunning part of the world....I want to go back!!!

These guys were away skiing in France in March. They were such a great group to deal with from start to finish, which always makes everything run so smoothly.
I helped them get everything sorted with ski passes, boots to accomodation and transfers etc. it was all easy so they could just go and enjoy 👌🏻

Love this wee trend so much!

As a wee girl, I’d sit with the remote on Teletext Holidays dreaming of faraway places....Antigua is always the one that has stuck in my head. I haven’t made it there yet, but I absolutely WILL one day 🙏

Now I get to do something I genuinely love every single day, helping others plan trips and experience the excitement of exploring new places. Travel has always made me happy (besides my kiddies of course 😜)

There’s something so special about stepping into a different world, even for a short time. It really is good for the soul.
