Busy long weekend, full of adventures around Budapest. One Day Wonder hike in the Visegradi hills, hiking+kayaking in the Danube bend and panoramic hike in the Buda hills. The forest is lush green and so much alive, spring in full power. 💚

!SOUND ON!
The wild camping day has arrived yesterday which is one of the most exciting night outs for us every year.
Mainly september is the mating season of the red deers in our beloved Vertes mountains. These nights are about listening the males (stags) roaring. And not only listening, but feeling these huge animals around when nature gives us the opportunity.
Yesterday we were lucky enough to get into the middle of the period which made it the most memorable stag experience we ever had. We sat hours in silence next to a spring in the middle of the forest and heared a stag approaching us slowely by hearing the roaring from closer and closer, when it was close enough heared also its steps. Finally slowly passed us and stopped for roaring for a while in a distance that I could hear its breath. My heart was bumping in my neck and felt the power of this wonderful animal on my skin.
One of the lifetime memories. And this is only one of the heart warming situations happened to us yesterday not to mention the fox answering the stag making a dialog or the wild boars getting as close as 5-10 meters to us and the many fights we heared on the meadow next to us between the kings of the forest.
Im sure we both will remember this day in the rest of our lives.

Adventure packed three days in the Balaton uplands. Kayaking, E mountain biking, wild camping with traditional Hungarian pork stew, wine tasting and hiking. A team of friends who celebrated the 20th anniversary of their friendship with us. We are always happy to make tailor made trips for special guests and with special requests.

We love to organize outdoor adventures for stag dos where the participants are open for being active instead of drinking the whole day/weekend. We had this lovely group yesterday and had a lot of fun on our Danube bend multi adventure trip, where we mix hiking with paddling on the old and beautiful Danube river. Our super stable raft boats are also a safe option for people who are afraid of water activities or haven't done anything similar before.

The Outdoor Family

We are Niki, Gyuri and Indy the dog, the adventure family. We prefer to spend our time out in the forests and up on the hills of Hungary. When it's time to travel, we also seek out active possibilities no matter which segment of the world we are. We've spent most of our free time on the trails, roads and rivers of Hungary in the last 10 years. After having guided by several people around the world, we decided to give something back to the outdoor community and guide people through the hidden beauties of Hungary no matter where they arrive from to our lovely country.

We believe that Hungary is much more than what you get from guide books, so we aim to show you our land from a different perspective. We like to stay in small huts or tents in the heart of the forest as opposed to sleeping in five star hotels in a city. We like to sit next to the campfire and talk about anything interesting:). We like to stay out under the starry sky and breathe in the smell of nature. We like to lay down on a grassy meadow and eat our handmade snacks. If you like this kind of lifestyle or you want to experience it in a safe environment, you are at the right place!
