A season of festivals, colors, good vibes, laughter, unforgettable memories. Cheers to culture, connections, good friends and rosé wine! The rosé wine festival is definitely one of the most popular one in June, but here you can find a few that worth attending if you visit Budapest this month:

- Summer outdoor cinema in the Pavilion Garden, City Park in June & July
- Festive Book Week June 11-14
- Night-time Sports Festival June 12
- Balcony concerts in Újlipótváros (13th district) June 13
- Budapest Pride June 27

Budapest will be fully packed this weekend so patience will be the greatest virtue 😊 The UEFA Champions League Final 2026 will take place in Budapest on Saturday, May 30. More than 60.000 fans are expected only at Puskás Arena. And those who didn’t get a ticket can choose from several big screens in the City Park, where they have food, drinks and many programs as well! Public transport runs more frequently, there will be an increased police presence. My best advice: be extra careful with your valuables because it will be crowded everywhere!

May the best one win! 🏆

A good breakfast sets the tone! I don’t always have time for breakfast, but I do love slow mornings 😎 And Budapest has many good places to enjoy a nice breakfast (and I don’t mean the overpriced places). I recommend the following places for an amazing croissant, cocoa swirl, brioche or salty pastry (like cheesy jalapeño snails) and a good coffee:

📍Norma Grand
1024 Budapest, Margit körút 75-87
📍Artizán
1054 Budapest, Hold utca 3
📍Arán bakery
1077 Budapest, Wesselényi utca 23
📍Panificio II Basilico
1027 Budapest, Bem József utca 2
📍Három Tarka Macska
1066 Budapest, Teréz körút 22
📍Butter Brothers
1093 Budapest, Lónyay utca 22

A private sightseeing tour on the Danube is always a big hit. And I’m the happiest when I see satisfied smiles! 🥰 Budapest is breathtaking from the boat as well!

If you want to see the major buildings and the bridges with lights wait until it gets completely dark.

This kind of boat rides are never enough! 😎

Worth starting the walk at the Tihany Abbey. The Monastery has a long history dating from 1055. The Baroque Church is small but very pretty. And at the end you can have an amazing lavender cream cake at the Rege Confectionery. This cake is 10/10! 😍 There are many more lavender products because Tihany is also famous for its lavender.

Győr is the capital of Győr-Moson-Sopron County and is situated only 1 hour from Budapest. When walking the cozy downtown streets, it’s worth admiring the facades of the buildings not only for their baroque details but also for the signboards hanging on them. This tradition still lives in the old town giving the streets a special atmosphere. I always love exploring them! 😍

There are many good restaurants and coffee shops in the city, so everything is provided for a pleasant one-day trip!

My tips:

📍morning coffee at Másképp Specialty Coffee: Dunakapu tér 1.
📍lunch at Pálffy Étterem: Jedlik Ányos utca 19.
📍afternoon cake & coffee at: Kuglóf Art Cukrászda: Kazinczy utca 23.

If you like classical music then a concert at the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest will be a real experience. I try to come from time to time and I have never been disappointed so far! 🥰

One of the most impressive Art Nouveau palaces in Budapest was completed in 1907. The building is also worth taking a thorough tour as it contains many Zsolnay treasures.

It’s no secret that Castle District is my favorite place in April. But if you don’t like crowded places the City Park, the Margaret Island, the Gellért Hill are great alternatives to enjoy the flowers, the bright green leaves and the pleasant sunshine! 😎

The past few days have been a real emotional roller coaster. It’s been a long time since our vote and the final result have been so important! And as the saying goes: all’s well that ends well! Everyone knows it won’t be an easy 4 years! But at least clouds are slowly moving on. It will be really delightful to live in a more accepting country, free from hate speeches, incitement, lies, corruption and many more 🥰

Thank you for your kind support and sweet messages! It was really nice to read each and every message ❤️

My daughter turned 18 a few months ago, so this was her first election. She certainly won’t forget it!!! Proud mom as always 😊

Happy Easter from Hollókő, the only village in Hungary that is on the UNESCO World Heritage List! 🐣🐰🌷

Situated in the north-eastern part of Hungary, the village built in the 17th-18th century is a unique example of a traditional settlement, traditional architecture and pre-20th century village life, which has been preserved in its original state.

The village is not a museum, locals still live in the houses today (you can even rent one for a few days). Super peaceful and very nice locals everywhere! The local food is delicious, worth trying it!

On Easter Monday, a traditional watering from a bucket takes place in the village’s main square. I didn’t waited for this 😁
