Do you know why Saint Steven is so important in Budapest?🇭🇺

He was the first King of Hungary back in the 11th century, and is now the patron of the country✨

This statue of him riding a horse is located in the Fisherman's Bastion, one of the top attractions in Budapest. His feast day is celebrated on 20 August, and it is a public holiday in Hungary to commemorate the foundation of the state!🥳
