In a heartening initiative to promote student creativity and local expression, students of Government High School Chumathang has launched a school magazine called Milam Ge Gyatso. The magazine features an original essay titled Naye Mi Gul, Naye Mitse, celebrating new dreams and emerging identities in Ladakh.

The Deputy Chairman Tsering Angchuk formally unveiled the magazine and expressed his appreciation for the students’ initiative. He commended their thoughtful writing and acknowledged the efforts of the teachers and school staff who have played a crucial role in encouraging such creative pursuits within the school.

King Sengge Namgyal known as the 'Lion' King made efforts to restore Ladakh to its old glory by an ambitious and energetic building program including the Leh palace and the rebuilding of several monasteries.
He was the iconic and exemplary leader or king among Ladakhi.. and his statue has successfully installed at Leh main Chok patrol pump. And all this is put in to shape by one brilliant artist from Ladakh
He has put an all-out effort and skill for last two years and today we can enjoy impressive looks of King Singey Namgal at heart of Leh Ladakh.
