Siofok Active has comfortable quality touring bicycles for rent exceptionally well fitting for the Balaton Tour.
These bicycles are equipped with a rear luggage carrier, gel seat and a user friendly multiple Shimano (21-) gear system.

A tour around Lake Balaton is circa 205 km, with an average of 68,5 km a day, workable in 3 days.
When cycling normally, with an average speed of 12 to 15 km’s an hour, you spend daily 4,5 to 6 hours on the bicycle.
Naturally you can extend your travel time and build in a relaxing day at, for example, Héviz with it's famous health spa's or decide you want to cycle only 40 km's a day.

On the last part of the journey you can make use of the possibility of deviating from your route by taking a ferry from the astonishing peninsula Tihany to Szántod, thus making a shortcut of 36 km’s and experience one of the most spectacular views in th Balaton region.

If you are interested in a shorter version we can inform you about the ‘Semi Balaton’ Tour. This is a tour of circa 85 km’s that circles a part of Lake Balaton and can be done in 1 or 2 days.
