Throwback to last February in Ukraine where I held this flechette in my hand for scale comparison. This small steel rod with stabilizing fins has been used in wars ever since the First World War and Russia is using them against Ukraine to this very day.

Yes, we’re doing 350 kilometers per hour on board a train in Indonesia. This is Indonesia’s first and only bullet train; between Jakarta and Bandung. I’ve reviewed this train when it opened, twice. I only came back to also review first class and business class seats on board of this loss-making prestige project.
