A long drive from Kuta, maybe 2,5 hours away. Lots of steep steps down and then up on the way out, but totally worth it. Gorgeous waterfall with clear pool at the bottom perfect for swimming. Absolutely exhilarating. The falls are all big and majestic completely worth the trip. This is something you should not miss !

Make sure you bring swimming clothes and towels to have the ultimate experience! ( 📸 : )

So you have visited all of the Bali’s main attractions, feel like something is missing? Do you imagine Bali to be years ago, before bustling tourism flocked to the island ? All you need to do is to board a ferry from Sanur or Padangbai, and you will be transported to the Nusa Penida. Off the coast of Bali’s main island !

This breathtaking view point from Kelingking Beach on Nusa Penida should be on your bucket list as it is unknown to mass tourists and even more incredible in person.

Although the path may be rocky and slippery, but you will find Nature’s biggest wonders, and very often you may be completely alone. No need to stand in line to take a picture. There is a locally made railing down the cliff, that is very steep which allows access to almost half of the rock formation, then directly down to the beach. (📸 : )

Aside from the beaches, the bars and the nightclubs, there are some other things to do in Bali. And its worthwhile exploring all the nature and alternative outdoor options including Waterfalls. Let's have a look on this waterfall. It's called NungNung waterfall. Nine hundred metres above sea level, in a small village in the middle of nowhere, Nungnung Waterfall is waiting for you. Listen and watch thousands of litres of water cascading down 50 metres into a beautiful pool.

Sounds gorgeous? Getting there is a real challenge, though. You have to walk about 500 staircases down. It's true workout! Going up even worse! BUT it's just too beautiful so you will do it anyway :) This isn't gonna be a problem for the average person. But should you have some mobility problems you have now been warned! But it is worth every single step along the way. The waterfall is stunning and the surroundings are breathe taking! It’s picture perfect, and totally worth it!

To get to Nungnung Waterfall, travel about 90 minutes towards Sangeh. The village of Nungnung is about 45 kilometres from Denpasar, and there are easy signs to get to the falls. A carpark is available, and tickets must be purchased to descend the stairs. If you like nature, this a must on your Baligetaway list ! (📸 : )

Banyumala Waterfall. . . Bit of a challenge to reach, both by car or motorbike, and the road is bumpy, but its possible to do it. You have to ride down a mountain on loose broken pavers. It's a bit challenging so we would only recommend taking a scooter if you are very experienced. If not a car can easily get down and up with no stress. There are steep but not as hard as all the comments said, some wooden steps to climb and a bit of a hike to get out but it was absolutely worth it. The falls are amazing and there's plenty of room for swimming. (📸 : )

This is by far one of the best places to watch a sunset/sunrise from. It has a clear view of Mount Agung and the green scenery around it is absolutely breathtaking. If you could only visit one temple in Bali, please make it this one!

Standing majestically more than 1000 meters above the sea level in the northeast of Mount Agung, this one of Bali’s oldest temples is a magnet for those who love the mix of mountains and cultures. Before you are able to enjoy the view, you will need to conquer a steep staircase of almost 2,000 steps. Once you reach at the top, all your efforts are paid off. You will be dazzled by the impressive architecture of the temple and unusual traditions of Hindu religion (📸 : )

Bali being hot, it's good to cool off in the water! If you're doing a day trip in Ubud, definitely check this gorgeous waterfall out! Good visit for families but take note of the multiple steps down and up. May be tiring for young children and old folks ! (📸 )

The different view of Tibumanna Waterfall after it got some erotion. It has happened because of too much rainfall. The force of nature surprised us as it was greeted with twin waterfalls. Pair of waterfalls even more spectacular than we could have imagined from different perspective ( 📸 : )
