Back to Nagara transfer 50 Kms to LOKSADO (on the meratus mountainous) over night at Local house . (L,D)

Day 4.
Loksado Trek on the meratus mountainous

Meeting Point: At The Local house

Time: 08:30 Am

You will trek for 4 hours through mountainous, terrain and cross rivers by suspended wooden bridges and passing isolated villages along the way.
On the way we can go for swimming in the river.
Over night in local house. (B,L,D)

Day 5.
Loksado Trek on the meratus mountainous

Meeting Point: Local House

Time: 07:30 Am

Walk for 5-6 hours around trip in to the rain forest of the meratus mountains enjoying the peaceful beauty and wild life of the surroundings, lunch next to the water fall in the middle of nowhere before arriving at the village of the dayak bukit people where we will take motor-bike to ride us to Loksado village to stay the night the MERATUS RESORT. (B,L,D)

Day 6
Bamboo Rafting - Banjarmasin

Meeting Point: Meratus Resort.

Time: 07:30 Am

After breakfast at the Resort walk down the river, here you will be boarding your bamboo raft. Raft down the wild water down the rapids of the Amandit river. This “bamboo rafting” will be one of your most memorable experience you won’t forget in a hurry. on the way back down you may see lizard (iguana), monkeys, birds, etc. in the wild life. Up on arrival bamboo-rafting drive back all the way 4 hours to Banjarmasin.
Afternoon... visit “The Venice Of The East” in Banjarmasin.

17.00 sight-seing :afternoon sunset cruise by motor-boat along the small river in Banjarmasin, good to see the real life of Banjarmasin people. Children swimming and jumping in to the river while their moms washing them selves.

You will stay overnight back in Hotel again in Banjarmasin. (B,L)

Day 7.
Banjarmasin City Arround – Transfer airport.

Tour Kaja+Bjm+Loksado

Please find below suggested a NEW ITINERARY (a little bit of changes on the 1st day and 2nd day). The rest stay the same.

Note: To do this tour.
Please find flight arrival in Palangkaraya city and departure out of Kalimantan from Banjarmasin city to continue to the next destination.

Day 1.
Visit Orang Utan in the wild by Motor-boat

Meeting point : At Tjilik Riwut Palangkaraya Airport.

Time : 13:20

Our Guide Team will pick you up at Tjilik Riwut Airport.
Transfer you up 40 Kms , then boarding your Motor-Boat (Klotok) leaving for visiting The Orang Utan in the wild for 3 hours round trip.A long this trip you may see the Horn bill birds (the Kalimantan original bird) fly over you or if we are lucky meet Crocodiles .
Late afternoon check in to the “Bourgenville Villa” (accomodation next to the forest). Dinner at Gohong village.
Overnight in Bourgenville Villa. (D)

Day 2.
Visit Orang Utan and Transfer to Banjarmasin.

In the early morning boarding your motor-boat again leaving for a different spot for visiting another area of Orang Utan. In this area you may also see Macaque or Proboscis monkeys.

Transfer You Down To Banjarmasin 200Km, for 4-5 Hours Drive. Lunch on the road.
On the way Visit Museum of Central Kalimantan Province. And visiting the old Dayak’s Longhouse. Overnight your Hotel in Banjarmasin.(B)

Day 3.
Banjarmasin – Diamond mines - Nagara (low land = swampy land) and Loksado.

Meeting Point: At Your Hotel

Time: 08:30 Am

Drive about 200 kms north-east to LOKSADO The Meratus Mountains. On the way stop for Visiting :

1.Visit Diamond Mines in Cempaka village, an hour drive from Banjarmsin will stop to visit the traditional diamond mines where it has been here for centuries, observing and see how it process and the work.

Continue drive to the last town names Kandangan, where you will have lunch before driving another 30 Km To Nagara (low land = swampy land)

2. Visit Swimmimg Buffaloes.
After lunch leaving for Nagara a low land, is unique village on the swamp, a village on the water. Nagara is also well known as Banjarmasin 50 years ago.
At 3 pm boarding your motor-boat for visiting the unique of Nagara, visit the"traditional black Smith " where 30% of population here are making swords, knifes, and many other tools to be sale to south, central and even east Kalimantan.
On the way back if the water is high enough and luck we can see and visit the "Swimming buffaloes " along the swamp river banks on this
